PVCP Group Foundation: stays that reconnect vulnerable families

The Pierre & Vacances - Center Parcs Group is a major European player in local tourism with its brands Pierre & Vacances, Center Parcs, Maeva and Adagio. In 2017, the Group created its Foundation and then repositioned it in 2021 to extend its societal commitment in favor of vulnerable families. With the Komeet platform and a structured financial, skills and in-kind sponsorship program, the Foundation acts to help vulnerable families reconnect and rebuild relationships. Since its creation, it has supported 38 associations in Europe and allowed more than 100,000 people to be supported.

“Helping families reconnect”, a mission at the heart of the Group's raison d'être

Each year, 8 million customers stay with their families in the residences and villages of the Pierre & Vacances - Center Parcs Group. Giving meaning back to these shared moments is at the heart of the Group's raison d'être: “rediscovering the essential in a preserved environment”. However, some families, rebuilding after a breakup, facing illness, disabled or discriminated against, find it more difficult to create these essential links.

It is to them that the Group Foundation dedicates its action; it provides reinforced support through a triptych of sponsorship: financial, in kind, and skills. By acting alongside associations committed throughout Europe, the Foundation aims to create a large-scale solidarity chain. The objective: that each family can, in turn, experience moments of oxygen and unity.

A structured dynamic to support associations over the long term

Strategic involvement and structured management

  • The program is supported by a dedicated team of two people (Maud Pelletier, Foundation Manager and Joy Bauwens, Patronage Project Manager).
  • The Foundation's Board of Directors brings together Group management profiles (HR, CEO, General Secretariat) but also associative experts and field employees.
  • In line with the Group's strategy, the Foundation acts in line with the purpose defined in 2021: “Rediscovering the essential in a preserved environment”.

A well-thought-out ecosystem of ambassadors

  • A network of 28 ambassadors spread across the Group's brands and countries (Pierre & Vacances, Center Parcs, maeva, Adagio) who drive the relationship with associations.
  • Throughout the year, the ambassador invites employees to commit their working time to solidarity missions (toy collections or hosting families on site for example) to help the association in its development.
  • Skills development rituals are put in place: individual monthly support, collective quarterly meetings and an annual cohesion/training day.

Associative partnerships co-constructed over the long term

  • Each association benefits from an average of 20 stays per year, offered by the Group's sites, to create breaks for families.
  • Local synergies with Group partners (Office de Tourisme des Arcs, Skiset, Skiset, ESF, La Folie Douce, etc.) make it possible to enrich solidarity stays, as was the case in December 2023 with the LÉA aux Arcs 1800 association.
  • Through its programs Springboard and Boost, the Foundation structures its future partnerships to amplify its impact and reach new causes related to parenting, disability or family diversity.

Retours d'expérience

“Komeet is the living showcase of our solidarity missions, offering our ambassadors simplified follow-up of registrations and the Foundation a clear overview of missions in the various countries. Thanks to a tailor-made offer, we were able to test new modules such as the call for projects, in line with our development. Beyond the platform, Komeet opens the door for us to a network of committed actors, with inspiring meetings throughout the year.”

- Maud Pelletier,
Executive Director of the Fondation pour les Familles
