Structuring commitment during a phase of hypergrowth
Before launching its skills-based sponsorship program in 2022, Astrelya was going through a period of rapid growth. Founded in 2017, the company had surpassed 100 employees by 2020 and gradually structured its CSR approach by creating a dedicated department and completing its first carbon footprint assessment in 2021. In this context, Astrelya wanted to place social commitment at the heart of its development. One of the catalysts for the program was the desire to make the most of "bench" time by turning it into useful opportunities for employees. Astrelya identified these periods as a strategic lever to allow consultants to put their skills to work for the public good.
This initiative meets a dual development objective: developing employee skills and giving meaning to periods between projects. This approach transforms a transition period into a useful, meaningful experience that generates social impact. Beyond its societal value, this initiative also helps maintain a culture of continuous learning and strengthens internal cohesion by uniting employees around value-driven projects.
Feedback

"The gradual adoption of this initiative by employees has been very positive. Even if some are initially hesitant, experience shows that after their first volunteer project, they quickly embrace the program, gain confidence, and then participate enthusiastically in the initiatives offered. Discovering volunteer work allows them to fully appreciate the human and professional value of this experience, which benefits both the employees and our partner organizations."
