Mc2i: fully integrating solidarity commitment into the company's CSR policy

mc2i is an independent digital transformation consulting firm created in 1989 that supports large companies and public organizations. With more than 1,350 employees, the group is present in France and Belgium and is supported by an innovative and inclusive corporate culture. A Komeet client since 2020, the firm has chosen to fully integrate societal commitment into the employee experience.

Making intermission a lever for societal commitment

Since its creation, mc2i has sought to place humans at the heart of digital transformation based on a simple idea, it is not up to the user to adapt to technologies, but up to the company to make them accessible, sustainable and useful to the greatest number of people. In 2020, in the midst of a health crisis, mc2i detected a double need: to offer its intermission consultants a useful and rewarding way of mobilizing their skills and to respond to the growing demands of the associative world.

The intuition is clear: solidarity commitment can become a concrete pillar of the firm's CSR policy. It is in this context that mc2i is launching its partnership with Komeet, with a first strong initiative, the “solidarity intermission” program. Objective: to combine digital transition and social impact by allowing each employee to invest in missions in association, in line with their values and skills.

Placing the human at the heart of your model

A program designed to adapt to the daily life of consultants

  • The “solidarity intermission” system makes it possible to direct periods without missions towards impact actions, directly linked to business expertise.
  • Consultants are put in contact with associations of their choice and with needs in relation to their skills and the company's CSR strategy.
  • Intermission consultants develop their skills and can express their commitment to values that are dear to them.

A virtuous approach internally and for associations

  • Consultants who benefit from the solidarity intermission system share a strong commitment to the project, with a satisfaction rate of 4.85/5
  • Associations benefit from the skills of employees in intermission, over a sometimes longer period of time, for a strong and concrete impact in the long term.
  • In 2021, the solidarity intermission system made it possible to carry out more than 250 actions, for more than 2,500 hours of commitment.

A call to action facilitated by Komeet and supported by management

  • The Komeet platform and individualized support facilitate the transition to action, regardless of the availability of employees
  • Continuous communication values successes and stimulates the desire to act: testimonies, feedback from the field, internal impact
  • A regular presentation of the program and its results is made in CODIR to guarantee its visibility and strategic support.

Retours d'expérience

“The solution offered by Komeet corresponded to our need, that is to say a simple and digital solution allowing our employees to easily be put in contact with associations of their choice and with needs related to their skills. Together, we thought of a solution that would allow us to offer employees the opportunity to get involved while they are not on a mission. We have set up this program called “solidarity intermission” with the support of the Komeet teams and we are very proud of it.”

- Olivier Hervo,
Vice President, Operations Director and Project Sponsor

“Our employees, in search of meaning, are delighted to be able to work with associations. It also allows them to develop certain skills and to express their strong commitment to values that are dear to them. We recently opened the platform more widely as part of volunteering. In this way, our employees who wish to do so can now access the missions offered on the platform and commit to them on their personal time.”

Deputy Unit Director and Pilot of the Solidarity Intermission Programme
